GANJARAN INTRINSIK DAN EKSTRINSIK SERTA HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN KOMITMEN TERHADAP ORGANISASI: SATU KAJIAN DI KALANGAN KAKITANGAN PEMBANTU TADBIR DI MAJLIS PERBANDARAN MUAR, JOHOR.
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigated the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic rewards with employee commitment to the organization. The respondents are comprised of 60 administrative assistants in the Muar Municipal Council. Questionnaires used for data collection were modified from original survey questionnaire on commitment to the organization by Abu Bakr (1999) and the intrinsic and extrinsic rewards by Fadzrulhisham Children (2001) and Noshasimah Mohd Nor (2002). The data obtained were analyzed using Pearson correlation statistics. The results obtained indicate the existence of a significant relationship between intrinsic rewards with commitment to the organization, but there is no such relationship with the extrinsic rewards.

ABSTRAK
Kajian ini bertujuan menyelidik hubungan antara ganjaran intrinsic dan ekstrinsik dengan komitmen pekerja terhadap organisasi. Responden kajian adalah terdiri daripada 60 orang kakitangan pembantu tadbir di Majlis Perbandaran Muar. Soal selidik komitmen terhadap organisasi oleh Abu Bakar (1999) dan faktor ganjaran intrinsic dan ekstrinsik oleh Fadzrulhisham Bani (2001) dan Norhashimah Mohd Nor (2002) yang diubahsuai dari versi asal telah digunakan untuk tujuan pengumpulan data. Data-data yang diperolehi di analisis menggunakan statistic korelasi Pearson. Keputusan kajian yang diperolehi menunjukkan wujudnya hubungan yang signifikan antara ganjaran instrinsik dengan komitmen terhadap organisasi, tetapi keputusan ini tidak berlaku pada ganjaran ekstrinsik.
