Organizational citizenship behaviour is the individual behavior that is discretionary and not directly recognized by the formal reward system. However, this behaviour can promotes the effective functioning of the organization. Numerous studies have shown the organizational citizenship behaviour is importance in organization especially in service sector. Because of the importance organizational citizenship behaviour in service sector, this study is conducted to find out how psychological empowerment can enhance this behaviour among nurses in Malaysia public hospital. Total of 539 questionnaires were collected among nurses which from four public hospitals being used in this study. The data was analyzed using SPSS 23 and AMOS 23. Overall, the result revealed psychological empowerment is significantly on organizational citizenship behaviour.
