Tahap Penggunaan dan Halangan Perbankan Internet (Maybank2u) di Kalangan Pelanggan

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Internet banking existence had given a new approach to banking firm to compete with banks owned by foreign. Nevertheless, latest channel success for these bank products and services depend on his customer consumption level. This study aims to measure the level and identify the factor which preventing internet banking usage, especially Maybank2u usage among Maybank Berhad customers. Based on questionnaire conducted, found that the consumption level in all types of transaction prepared by Maybank2u is relatively in the low level. The analysis shows that, belief issue, security interest, facility access, interpersonal relationship importance, alternative channel existence and lack of awareness give effect on the internet banking usage level especially with Maybank2u.


ABSTRAK
Kewujudan perbankan internet telah memberikan pendekatan baru kepada firma perbankan untuk bersaing dengan bank-bank milik asing. Walau bagaimanapun, kejayaan saluran terbaru bagi produk dan perkhidmatan bank ini bergantung kepada tahap penggunaan pelanggannya. Kajian ini bertujuan mengukur tahap dan mengenal pasti faktor yang menghalang penggunaan perbankan  internet khususnya penggunaan Maybank2u di kalangan pelanggan Maybank Berhad. Berdasarkan soal selidik yang dijalankan, didapati tahap penggunaan ke atas semua jenis transaksi yang disediakan oleh Maybank2u berada di tahap yang agak rendah. Analisis menunjukkan bahawa isu kepercayaan, kepentingan keselamatan, kemudahan mengakses, kepentingan hubungan interpersonal, kewujudan saluran alternatif dan kurangnya kesedaran memberikan kesan ke atas tahap penggunaan perbankan internet khususnya Maybank2u.
